Staff Roles
Round one covers dais and flex staff. Page and note-passer roles will use a separate form later.
- DirectorLeads a committee dais team, coordinates with Secretariat, develops guides and assignments, and keeps debate moving.
- ChairLeads committee debate and works with the Director on preparation and live sessions.
- Assistant DirectorMaintains conference software and committee records and supports the Director during preparation and crisis updates.
- Flex StaffSupports Secretariat and committee operations where needed, including delegate support, materials, and on-site coverage.
- JCC OverlordOne Director applicant for JCC will be selected for this role; there is no separate application choice.
What to Prepare
The form requests brief responses, role preferences, and supporting material. Director applicants should apply in this round. A later opportunity may be available for Assistant Director, Chair, and Flex Staff roles.
- Model UN, staff, leadership, and extracurricular experience
- Written responses about your qualifications, commitments, conflict approach, and an MUN topic
- Your ranked role choices and optional committee preferences
- An academic writing sample in PDF format
- A résumé for Director applicants, plus optional design or technical work samples
